Post by Jacob –
I continue to be compelled to exhort you to repent and to seek the gift of the Holy Spirit. So many prophets have spoken concerning Christ. Will you reject these words? If you do you are denying the good word of Christ, and the power of God, and the gift of the Holy Ghost. If you do, you quench the Holy Spirit and make a mock of the great plan of redemption which was laid out for you. If you do reject, deny, quench and mock, the very power of redemption and the resurrection, which is in Christ, will actually bring you to stand with shame and awful guilt before the bar of God.
According to the power of justice, which justice cannot be denied, you must go away into that lake of fire and brimstone, whose flames are unquenchable, and whose smoke ascends up forever and ever. That lake of fire and brimstone is endless torment. The very power of justice and mercy works for those seeking righteousness and against those who don’t.
So please, my beloved brethren, repent, and enter in at the strait gate, and continue in the way which is narrow until you are able to obtain eternal life.
O be wise; what can I say more?
Finally, I bid you farewell, until I meet you before the pleasing bar of God, which bar strikes the wicked with awful dread and fear. Amen.
