Post by Nephi –
After my father finished talking about the dream (which I will post more about later) a dream that I will refer to as the Tree of Life, he prophesied boldly concerning the coming of the Messiah. Because of my father’s faith in the Son of God he spoke all these things boldly by the power of the Holy Ghost.
I also want to see, hear and know all these things by the power of the Holy Ghost. The power of the Holy Ghost is actually a gift given to all those that diligently seek the Son of God. This has been the case in olden times and will be the case when He Himself appears to the children of men.
The Lord our God is the same yesterday, today, and will be forever. He prepared a way for all mankind, even from the foundation of the world to be able to repent and come unto Him.
The reason I’m confident in seeking Him is because I know all those who diligently seek will find; and the mysteries of God will be unfolded to them by the power of the Holy Ghost, just as much now as in times of old, and as well in times of old as in times to come; wherefore, the course of the Lord is one eternal round. He doesn’t change!
All of you that are reading this blog, please know for all your doings, you will be brought into judgment. If you have sought to do wickedly in your life, then you will be found unclean before the judgment–seat of God. We know unclean things cannot dwell with God; so if you are unclean you will be cast off forever.
I testify these things are true. The Holy Ghost gives me authority to say this, and I won’t deny it.
Now, because I wanted to so badly know everything that my father had seen, and I believed that the Lord could show it all to me, as I was pondering and praying I was visited by the Spirit of the Lord. I was carried away to a very high mountain that I had never before been or had never even seen.
I hope to share that great experience with you. But for now, I want you to know that the Lord wants so much to share His Spirit with you, testifying of His love and His plan for you to return to live with Him.
