As I mentioned, I will to the best of my ability, see that this blog and the back up metal plates contain only things of great worth. So let me start with that which we both will consider the greatest of any worth.
It has been declared by the words of an angel that in 600 years from the time we left Jerusalem, Christ shall come to earth. In addition to the declaration from an angel we also have the writings of Zenock, Neum, and Zenos in the plates of brass. They testify that the world, because of their iniquity will judge Him to be but a man, they will scourge Him and He will suffer it, they will smite Him and He will suffer it, they will spit on Him and He will suffer it because of His loving kindness and His long-suffering.
He is the God of our fathers, who led them out of Egypt, out of bondage and preserved them in the wilderness just as He preserved us. He is the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob. He will yield Himself, as a man, into the hands of wicked men to be lifted up and to be crucified and be buried in a sepulcher. They testified there would be three days of darkness as a sign of His death to those who will inhabit the islands of the sea at that time but more especially to be a sign to all of us who are of the house of Israel.
These prophets testified the Lord God surely shall visit all the house of Israel at that day. He will visit some with his voice, because of their righteousness, which will bring great joy and salvation. To others He will visit with the thunderings and the lightnings of his power, by tempest, by fire, and by smoke, and vapor of darkness, and by the opening of the earth, and by mountains which shall be carried up. This obviously will be a bad day for the wicked.
We are told the rocks of the earth must be torn up and because of the groanings of the earth, many of the kings of the isles of the sea shall be moved by the Spirit of God, to exclaim: The God of nature suffers.
