Let me now continue with the vision I was blessed to receive. Once again, the angel asked me to behold the condescension of God. As I looked I saw the Redeemer of the world. My father had spoken of Him. I also saw a prophet that was chosen to prepare the way before the Savior and He, the Lamb of God went to the prophet and was baptized by him. After he was baptized, the heavens opened and I saw the Holy Ghost came down out of heaven and abide upon Him in the form of a dove. I was learning fast that God uses symbols and signs to teach and demonstrate. I knew that the Holy Ghost was not an actual dove, but was a spirit without mortal body and the dove was merely a sign that he had been sent from heaven.
Following His baptism, I saw the Savior go forth ministering to the people. He demonstrated great power and great glory and multitudes gathered to hear Him. Everyone however did not receive Him, at times He was cast out from among them.
I also saw twelve others following Him and then the spirit carried them away and I couldn’t see them any more.
Then once again the heavens opened and I saw angels come down from heaven and minister to the children of men. When the angel again told me to look, I saw the Lamb of God still among the people, particuarly the sick. They were afflicted with all sorts of diseases, and with devils and unclean spirits. I saw that by the power of the Lamb of God, they were all healed from their diseases and the devils and unclean spirits were all cast out.
As I talked earlier about the love of God which was represented by the fruit of the tree, this great compassion and mercy I was witnessing was part of that love. As I watched in vision, how the Savior ministered, I was overwhelmed by His love, even for those who cast Him out and refused His love.
