Welcome to my blog. My name is Nephi. The purpose of this blog is that I may persuade men and women from all over the world to come unto the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob and be saved.
Because that is the fullness of my intent, I don’t plan on writing about things that may be pleasing to the world. I plan on writing about things that are pleasing unto God and those who are not of the world.
Knowing that I will not live forever, others will be instructed to keep this blog up and going. My instructions to them will be that they shall not occupy this blog with trivial things that are not of eternal worth.
The reason I ever considered this work is my desire to share with you the wonderful blessing I have had in my life to get to know the greatness of my God. I started this blog as a young man, the 4th son of my parents Lehi and Sariah. I will not dwell on our family ancestry as part of my introduction to you, but sufficeth to say, we are descendants of Joseph – yes, the one with the technicolor dreamcoat.
I have seen a great deal in my short life and can certainly not include them all here. One thing that I want to make clear from the beginning is that this record will be true as I and others share this record of our family’s travels and spiritual experiences.
I pray to my Father in Heaven that this record will help you come unto Him.
