I love these prophesies of Isaiah because as opposed to destruction and wrath we read of great promises. Almost as a continuation of that prophesy, Isaiah continues saying that in that day, O Lord, we will praise thee. Even though the Lord was angry, His anger is turned away and He now comforts us. In fact let me quote directly Isaiah’s words, for he says it better than I do.
“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation.”
Isaiah then tells how in that future day all those that partake of the great blessings of the restoration of the great teachings, ordinances and truths, will be full of Joy describing it as drawing out of the wells of salvation. Those fortunate people will praise the Lord, they will call on His name, teach His words and exalt His name. They will sing to Him because He has done so many great things for them.
