We have been so favored of the Lord. At the direction of the Lord, my sons have constructed a ship as unique in design as should be expected having been designed by God Himself.
Once the ship was complete, the voice of the Lord came to me, telling me we should all go down into the ship. The very next day, after we had prepared our things which included fruits and meat from the wilderness, honey in abundance and all the provisions the Lord has commanded us to gather, we went down into the ship. Each of us from the oldest to the very youngest taking all the things that we had brought with us and including our wives and children we went down to the ship.
Nephi has not mentioned his two young brothers who were born to Sariah and I in the wilderness. The older of the two we named Jacob and the younger we named Joseph. They are very young but I have great hope for them and they love their older brothers particularly Nephi and Sam.
After we all got loaded onto the ship, with all our belongings, we put forth into the sea. What an exciting time. A new adventure for our family. Oh how the Lord has blessed us. The winds are carrying us swiftly towards the promised land.
