I have mixed emotions. I on one hand wish to thank you Nephi and your brothers for traveling to the land of your foolish father’s inheritance and bringing to me his great treasure. It saved me and my servants considerable trouble. I also appreciate your keeping this blog for the world to read, as I now know you and your family have fled the land. You must know there is no place you can hide, remember Urijah?
On the other hand, your silliness angers me. You have to know the old aristocracy is dead, wherein the foolish prophets such as your father and Jeremiah are but a nuisance in their declaring such subversive and defeatist proclamations. Nephi, your two brothers are right. They are weak but are right when they declare the people who are in the land of Jerusalem a righteous people. We do keep the statutes according to the law of Moses; wherefore, we know that we are a righteous people.
Our new order which is controlled by the elders of the Jews is where the power really lies. Your father is simply out of touch. With your family’s wealth, your brothers would have been welcome to join us. But they were too weak to stand against your irrational father. Because of their foolish choices, they too will die when we find you.
As for the records written on the brass plates, it is understandable your father would want them. This record has been kept from very ancient times on very valuable bronze plates. As their guardian, they will remain safe in my treasury. I will never give them up. Lehi is merely anxious to claim a noble ancestry like mine, tracing it back to Joseph. If your family were to claim such heritage, you would be an embarrassment to our ancestry.
As for your fairy tale about an angel, I assume your brothers are drunken with more than just hate. You and your delusions are no match for those in my command.
